College courses help job seekers
The National Council on Aging has joined forces with the Ocean County College's Department of Continuing and Professional Education to offer free noncredit certificate courses that train adults, age 55 and older, to re-enter the job market.
The department is offering courses in the health-care field, including medical office specialists, dental practice administrators, physical therapy aides, medical billing, medical records coding and medical transcription.
Low-income Ocean County residents age 55 years and older can contact Kathy Caro at (732) 255-0400 ext. 2326 for more information.
